Today I saw wild eagles at Lake Coeur d'Alene, comforted a two-month old baby, and got dinner for six on the table in 25 minutes (spaghetti w/clam sauce) with ice cream and delicious fruitcake for dessert (I'm a fan).
Tonight, it's time to write!
Please check in with other ROW80 folks for Round 01 -- and have a great week.
The Hudson Bay Company research sounds fascinating. I am very interested in US history.
ReplyDeleteThank you. This deeper understanding of how people lived (and survived) in earlier times is what drives me to research and write historical fiction.
DeleteYou have been busy! Congrats on getting so much done in just a few days. I am jealous! Keep up the good work. I'm still waiting to read Rivers of Stone . . . .
ReplyDeleteAs always, thank you, Chris. At the rate the revisions are going, I'm still hoping for maybe, just maybe by the end of 2015. Your encouragement reminds me of Bette Midler's hit, "Wind Beneath my Wings" for you give that gift to many.
DeleteHello! I've been around the blog block for a while, but I'm new to the ROW80 challengeI love it so far! I realized this year that my writing desires were too open-ended and I tended to bite off more than I could chew. I also realized I didn't actually have a plan in place to move toward my goals. That's what I love about joining the challenge. The goals and progress that the writers like you are modeling makes my head spin. But I'm realizing my initial goal was relatively short-sighted and adding to it as the challenge goes on. Good luck on your goals and I look forward to hearing more.
