Wish goal setting were as easy. Before Round 3 ends (80 days from now), here are my goals for improving my writing and marketing:
- WRITING: Continue studying the craft of writing and drafting The Seventh Tapestry. Goal 1,000 words/week.
- MARKETING: Refine overall plan; carry out 2 activities/week.
- BLOGGING: Post minimum of 2 posts each week.
- COMMUNITY: Improve outreach through active participation in social media, online and F2F writing groups x5 activities/events each week.
- HOME-TENDING: Support healthy diet, exercise, and my family, keeping a balance between work/play.
Now that list above is rather short, but it reflects the heart of what I hope to accomplish before Round 3 ends. What's next is hairy, messy, and may well morph into something new. We are truly half-way through the year. Shades of fall and winter beckon before the heat of summer is upon us. And some of us are stubborn! We are going to set goals and make progress.
You've obviously never seen me use a sewing machine. It's not pretty. lol.
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your goals this round.
Laughing, because I'm giving mine away. Bought it when my son was 7. He'll be 17 in late summer! Times I've used it? 0!
DeleteI'm laughing too, because I bought mine when I was 21, a basic Singer. You don't know how much I've used that sturdy, heavy sewing machine over the years -- and now, my daughter has it and sews!
DeleteYes, Fallon, but you knit fabulously. Thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteI love the heart of these goals, Beth. As for me - I look for cargo pants!=D
ReplyDeleteNot a bad idea at all, but short pockets show up in cargo pants too. When we travel internationally, I sew secret pockets as well. And alas for that short list of Round 3 goals. I've already added one more category! Thank you for stopping by!
